Florian Haslinger is Deputy Director of the SED and responsible for finance, controlling and administration. He represents the SED on the Executive Committee of the LAINAT (Natural Hazards Intervention Steering Committee) and other federal bodies. From 2012 to 2023, he played a key role in setting up the European Plate Observing System EPOS, a European research infrastructure, particularly in organizing the seismological component. He continues to be part of the Swiss representation in the EPOS General Assembly. Since 2017, Florian Haslinger has been one of the delegates for Switzerland in Working Group B of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO Preparatory Commission).
