Dr. Anastasiia Shynkarenko

I joined SED as a PhD student in 2017. My PhD project was focused on characterizing subaqueous lake slopes in terms of structure, sediment properties, seismic response, and stability using seismological and geotechnical investigations.

Since 2023, I am working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Engineering Seismology group at SED. My work is focused on the project on Microzonation in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft and, in particular, on geophysical and seismological investigations to refine our understanding of the local seismic response.
