My PhD project is related to tsunamis in lakes and its aim is to understand the processes related to the stability of slopes (lateral slopes and delta slopes). It includes the analysis of the seismic response of slopes and non-linear phenomena expected during strong shaking. Seismic measurements will also be the part of the work and will include the analysis of ambient vibrations and earthquake recordings using ocean bottom seismometers (OBS) that are linked to cone penetrometer test (CPT) measurements.
