My research interests extend more and more from energy conversion technologies in the sustainable energy sector and experimental work on induced seismicity towards software and sensor development in seismology.
Currently, my work includes: Hard- and software development for high frequency data acquisition units, advanced analysis of seismicity in small-scale hydraulic stimulation experiments and in pilot-scale deep geothermal energy projects, as well as accelerometer development.

2023 – present: Senior scientist at ETH Zurich and the Swiss Seismological Service (SED) at ETH Zurich

  • Developing software/hardware for processing and recording of high-frequency data
  • Project manager in research projects and proposal preparation in the EU/CH domain

2021 – 2022: Postdoc at ETH Zurich and the Swiss Seismological Service (SED) at ETH Zurich

  • Developing software/hardware for processing and recording of highly sampled picoseismic data in the field of hydraulic stimulation for deep geothermal reservoirs
  • Team leader of research projects and supervision of student projects (Master-level)
