“Advancing Geophysical Methods for CO2 Sequestration and Deep Geothermal Energy Exploitation”. My research focuses on improving the understanding of CO2 Sequestration in Basalt using geo-physical methods (active and passive seismics, electrical resistivity measurements).

The goal is to monitor the injection and mineralization of anthropogenic CO2 at the DemoUpStorage experimental site in Helguvik, Iceland. In a second part, I will work on improving the subsurface understanding of the Hengill geothermal area (also in Iceland) using the ambient noise recordings of the DEEPEN nodal array.
